ABOUT THE ROLE 

The People Operations Generalist reports to the Director, People Operations & Total Rewards and is responsible for performing key People Operations functions with a focus on employee experience, operational efficiency, and compliance. This role will coordinate and execute a variety of areas including onboarding, offboarding, HRIS maintenance, policy and procedures, benefit administration, and compliance  

 

WHAT YOU’LL DO 

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employees, providing guidance and support on day-to-day HR-related inquiries, including policy interpretation, benefits, and other personnel matters, ensuring timely and accurate assistance to foster a positive employee experience. 
  • Coordinate the end-to-end onboarding and offboarding processes, between multiple departments including employee communication, coordination of events, conducting background and other pre-employment screenings, and completing, verifying, and maintaining I-9 forms and E-Verify records, and termination processes, while ensuring a positive and seamless employee experience.  
  • Completes the data-entry functions in the HRIS system, ensuring accurate data and employment records, and generating reports. 
  • Assist in the development, review, and implementation of HR policies and procedures to ensure alignment with current labor law and organizational mission and values 
  • Support clinician contract creation, coordinating with clinical operations, compliance, and talent acquisition to ensure accurate and timely contracting.  
  • Monitor and maintain compliance with labor laws and regulations, ensuring all employee records, policies, and postings meet legal requirements.  
  • Maintain regular audits for key priority HR items such as document storage and retention and compliance standards. Respond to audit requests for insurance and benefit programs such as worker’s compensation, 401k, and other company and department needs.  
  • Respond to standard requests for employee records based on established guidelines, referring more complex or confidential inquiries to management. 
  • Other duties as assigned. 

 

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR 

  • 2+ years of progressive experience within Human Resources, with a focus on policy and procedure, people operations, and compliance.   
  • Bachelor’s degree or combination of education and/or relevant experience that demonstrates the required knowledge, skills and abilities.    
  • Strong sense of urgency and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.  
  • Commitment to providing exceptional customer service to employees and stakeholders.  
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and data management.  
  • Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations.  
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.  
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and compliance.  
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality. 
  • Constantly operate at a computer and other related peripherals such as a keyboard, mouse, headset, etc.  
  • Must remain in a stationary position most of the time working.   
  • Frequent communication via remote meeting software, softphones, or cell phones.   
  • Predominantly working in the employees’ home, indoor, office setup. 

 

POSITION LOGISTICS 

  • Position is Remote 
  • Full-time employment  
  • Minimal Travel of less than 5% annually.   
  • Reports to Director, People Operations & Total Rewards 

 

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS 

  • The pay range for this role is $63,150 - $68,000 anually. This information reflects the anticipated salary range for this position using current market data. The final offer will be determined based on an individual's skills, years of experience, education, capacity, licenses, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
