Position Summary    

Array Behavioral Care is hiring a full-time, 100% virtual Psychiatrist to provide measurement-based, culturally humble episodic care to patients in acute crisis across various settings and states.  You will immerse yourself in the buzz of emergency departments, hospital medical floors or crisis stabilization units from the comfort of your own home. Array Emergency Psychiatrists collaborate with onsite professionals to determine a timely disposition and use evidence-based practices to provide care to vulnerable individuals experiencing mental health crises.   

    

A typical day may look like:    

  • Simultaneously serving multiple emergency rooms, hospital medical floors, and psychiatric crisis programs to evaluate and treat patients in crisis and find the most appropriate and least restrictive level of care   
  • Receiving support throughout your shift by our 24/7 access center who triages cases and makes sure you have what you need to successfully treat each patient 
  • Directing and/or implementing psychotherapeutic treatments and prescribing medication to treat mental, emotional, or behavioral disorders  
  • Utilizing a collaborative care approach within your partner’s healthcare treatment team    

 

You are good at:    

  • Providing psychiatric care to all age groups  
  • Treating patients in acute crisis and providing stabilizing treatment in 24/7 settings
  • Communicating with patients from various backgrounds and providing culturally competent care      

 

You are comfortable with technology:    

  • Setting up and using technical hardware (i.e., laptop, camera, monitors)  
  • Using various software (e.g., Microsoft 365) and advanced experience with video platforms (i.e., Microsoft 365, Zoom)  
  • Operating EHRs effectively in day-to-day activity   
  • Can easily learn new software     

 

This position will be a good fit for you if:    

  • You are a board-certified or board-eligible Psychiatrist  
  • You have unrestricted, independent licensure   
  • You have a private office space in your home or elsewhere that ensures confidentiality
  • You have established and updated CAQH and FCVS profiles 
  • You have experience working multiple EMRs at the same time
  • You have advanced tech proficiency with Windows systems and EMR software over several years of experience in telehealth

The pay range for this role is $130 - $150 an hour. This information reflects the anticipated salary range for this position using current market data. The final offer will be determined based on an individual's skills, years of experience, education, capacity, licenses, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
