Position Summary

The Senior Financial Analyst will support the financial and operational reporting of the finance team by delivering accurate and timely monthly reports, developing financial models, maintaining dashboards and data, and acting as a liaison with various operational leaders.  Your work will directly impact senior leadership’s ability to make sound operational and strategic decisions, so every detail and line item is crucial.  The individual will be a strong communicator, who can tell a story using data, and generate key insights.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist in producing monthly financial and operational reporting dashboards, providing insights and trends
• Closely collaborate with the finance team and cross-departments to provide strategic analytics, insights, and reporting that influence business decision-making
• Perform variance analyses of financial results and KPIs against forecast and budget
• Assist in building forecasts and multi-year strategic plans
• Develop and enhance financial models
• Support the annual planning process
• Understand key business drivers and analyze trends
• Assist with special projects and prepare ad hoc analyses as needed to support business

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; or equivalent work experience
• 3-4 years’ experience in FP&A, investment banking, consulting, or accounting (audit/tax)
• Strong MS Excel skills
• Experience working with financial models in Excel
• Experience in high growth startup company
• Strong attention to detail; problem solving skills, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Willingness and desire to roll up your sleeves
• Sense of urgency without sacrificing quality
• A growth mindset and initiative to seek out additional responsibilities to learn and grow

Logistics

• Position is Remote, EST or CST preferred
• Full-time employment
• The pay range for this role is $68,000 to $90,000 per year. This information reflects the anticipated salary for this position using current national data. The final offer will be determined based on an individual’s skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
